Function
Belt Sway Switches also know as Belt mis-alignment switches are specially designed for protecting conveyor belts from damage or destruction in case of out of alignment running of belt or wild swaying of the belt due to uneven loading, worn out surface etc and also to avoid pilferage and loss of valuable material in case of excess swaying. Belt Sway Switch is mounted on both sides of belt conveyors preferably every 15 to 20 meters.

Contact rating:16A at 440V AC on resistive load. They are suitable for lower rating also. (e.g.5A at 240V AC).
Termination : Suitable to accept 2.5 sq.mm conductor separate earthing studs are provided
Housing : Available in different sizes in Cast Aluminium, Cast Iron ,Fibre Ri-inforced Plastic (FRP) Dust and water tight to IP-65 grade.
